I would have noticed that the US has not been very supportive of traditional or treaty-obligated allies recently. That would affect my willingness to cooperate and trust in that relationship.
2. I would have noticed that the US has gone out of its way to attempt rapproachment with traditional adversaries and rivals. If I were an enemy, I would find in that an opportunity to redefine our relationship and potentially win concessions. If I were really up to no good, I would be calculating whether that desire for peace was equivalent to a reluctance to effectively counter aggression.
3. I would have noticed that the US has generally had a better economy than most traditional economic powers in Europe, Japan, etc. I would see in that an opportunity to expand trade relations.
4. I would have noticed that the US seems to be prioritizing environmental interests. I would see in that an opportunity to solicit aid and/or focus effort on manufacturing eco-friendly items while trying to expand trade relations.
5. I would have noticed that the US has made a vigorous effort to acquire data from other countries via technical means. I would see in that a security necessity to insulate my networks and data from US companies and try to partner elsewhere or come up with my own system. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 25 Feb 2015 11:00:57 -0500 2015-02-25T11:00:57-05:00 Response by SPC Angel Guma made Apr 19 at 2015 7:30 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/if-you-were-the-leader-of-a-foriegn-country-what-would-your-opinion-of-america-be?n=602760&urlhash=602760

Viewpoints

1. Most poor third world countries: hand outs please! We need a bail-out. Our king and aristocracy here needs a few billion from the US to we can send our spoiled rotten children to rich schools like Oxford with the latest Gucci shoes, while the vast majority of our citizens suffers and starves. Liberals in colleges will applaud this as good leadership and respecting culture. But never let it be known most of these foreign aid bailouts always goes to the kingship and his friends, not the average folk.

2. Russia: the USSR never really dissolved, we only wanted you to think that. Onward to Berlin!

3. China: Buy our factory made goods, and we will encourage US businesses to offshore any sort of respectable middle class jobs to China that they want. Buy our stuff and we'll take your jobs.

4. Iran: we're building nukes, but we want peace. But we will crush Israel. But we are peaceful. Believe our peace!

5. Saudi Arabia: we are grateful for your military support. Now keep it coming. Anything to avoid actual real responsibility in fighting ISIS.

6. France: Oui Oui

7. Israel: Democrats don't count, Jeb Bush will make a come back. We're always in trouble with our angry arab allies. The Arabs are always giving us trouble!!! Those Arabs why won't they ever behave. Grrr.

8. UK: UK = England. Scotland will never leave the union jack. By the way, America was once British. Never forget that!

9. Iceland: its not as icy here as you think.

10. Greenland: not very green.

11. North Korea: one day all of korea will belong to the North.

12. South Korea: bring it on.

13. Other: military aid is good, foreign aid is good. We need help fighting rebellions and separatists, fight for us and we'll make it worth your while!

Why Iraq hasn't broken up like the former Yugoslavia is a miracle.
