I don't know if I would be Rich but I could buy a case of beer or two. It's definitely a Roller Coaster Ride but it was Fun sometimes either that or I am seriously Masochistic since I did it for 21 years.

It's not about things going my way were against my way. The fact is we are all serving the greater good by serving in the military. Unless were very senior leaders we don't always have the global picture and I understand what's being asked of us.

Out of 34 years with an average of 5 times a day that would be $3105 in 1974 dollars Cpl Shane Cunningham :-)
Considering gasoline cost under 40 cents a gallon and my E-1 pay was $344 per month, I expect my nickels would have grown to at least $50,000.
That being said things went my way or the way I would like to see them go at least 25 times per day over those 34 years. I am glad we don't have to pay a nickel every time things went my my. I would be in serious debt to the Army if I had to pay them back :-)

I'd have enough money to take all that plastic crap out of Kim Kardashian and Nikki Minaj and show America how they really looked pre-surgery, and still have enough left over for a six pack of orange juice and a large pizza. I wouldn't be able to afford to get either of them a brain tho. Hell I'd be able to renovate the Old Solders home in DC and have enough left over to build another one right next to it.

Seriously. You(Soldiers, Salors,Airmen, Marines) control your own destiny in the Military. Yeah the "suck" does creep up occasionally, but hey that's the way it is. I'm assuming it happens in civi world also.
