I can honestly say that every big decision I've made, I believed I was doing the right thing at the time. Therefore there's not point in wishing I'd done differently. However, if I were to do a re-do, I believe I would have enlisted at 19 instead of 25, and I would have gone active duty. It was the right decision at the right time of my life. But had I thought about it at the time I probably would have went back in. There are certainly things that I give myself a self kick in the six for doing.....other things a self high five.....other things I question myself as to what I was thinking when I did it......but all of these actions and decisions has gotten me to where I am. It's that time paradox thing. If I went back to do even just one small do-over, then chances are everything after that changes. And I am happy where I am now.
