That would be a fairly awful idea as it would be basically invading our neighbor with our military and mining their territory against their will. Some folks might call that an act of war. Imagine our response if the Mexican military attempted to cross into San Diego and lay down a minefield.

Or we mine our own territory? Only slightly less awful. Just imagine in 10 months, when it’s not quite feasible to have an Army of translators and minefield minders handing out warnings. And little Timmy and his friends accidentally wander into a minefield.

What’s next, rows and rows of dug holes full of sh*t-tipped pungi sticks? Seriously though, I think minefields might be a bad idea.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 23 at 2018 12:34 AM2018-10-23T00:34:30-04:002018-10-23T00:34:30-04:00SGT Joseph Gunderson4067489

Why not? I'm all for the idea. I think that it would be more cost-effective and convenient in the long-term if we just shoot whoever attempts to cross until the wall gets put up but mines are a good second choice; an oldie but a goodie.Response by SGT Joseph Gunderson made Oct 23 at 2018 7:59 AM2018-10-23T07:59:59-04:002018-10-23T07:59:59-04:002018-10-22T23:27:44-04:00
