If the constitution were to be suspended then there would be rival factions of the government or the president himself is responding to some type of plague of violence sweeping across the nation. So with that being said I would have to see where I stand at that point in time. We're talking about extreme circumstances to which will I continue to fight for the country I defend ordered by my commander in chief which is trying to regain the republic. Or do I this overwhelming sentiment that caused the constitution to be suspended in the first place? Either way I'd have to choose a side and I think I'd choose the side that would uphold the constitution for all and not the few because that's what it'll come down too

Egypt and a host of 3rd world nations have invoked "national emergencies" to limit or halt elections, constitutional rights etc. <br />If something had to be suspended the Suspender In Chief had better declare from the git go that hell or high water the "suspension" would end by such and such DTG.<br />The "temporary" suspension of rights etc in most 3rd world nations like Egypt are and have always worked out to be PERMANENT.<br />Nuf said.
