If someone on here died today, would you be satisfied with the last conversation you had with that person?

Politics and religion make people feel a certain kind of way. Hypocrisy, lies, name-calling from all sides. Would you be proud, if your last conversations were posted for everyone to see? Would you be proud to have the last conversation you had with someone printed out and hung up on their casket with your picture next to it?

What is so difficult about being decent to each other for no reason?

I've always tried to put up a facade of a young rich millionaire (yuppie). As long as I have held that impression, I think I've left my mark well.

In all honesty, I usually leave an respectful and professional opinion and read the comments later. I like to hear everyone's thoughts on how I think. Overall I've made several acquaintances during my time here. Everything was good until SSG Jessica Bautista showed up.

It would depend on what I said to them. If the last thing I said to them was " You Idiot " and they died a few hours after I called them and Idiot. I would feel somewhat bad, but if I told them that Jesus died on the cross for there sins. And the told me to go get F@#$*! Then they dropped dead, I would not feel bad at all

Yes. If I honestly feel that I'm right in what I am saying, have presented facts along with opinions that weren't born in Palin land, I'd have no regrets. If I was being trolled, and let someone have it, yes again. If you cannot bring anything worthwhile other than petty insults or using dots with no words, then I have nothing for you. Plenty of good folks on here. While I do value differing opinions being I'm not even 60% right most of the time, I try to remember these things:
1. They're not feeding you.
2. They're not F**king you.
3. They're not paying my bills
4. They're not taking care of me
5. Arguing with a woman is futile. She won as soon as she twists her mouth and types that on the keyboard.
After that I look at the source. If I consider them a friend, or someone I respect, I'll go the extra mile to hear them out, and take any bias out of my mind; easier to learn that way. Again if the post is only to piss people off like "what is the most important MOS in the Army", "How much better it is to be 11 series than anyone else", "Why shouldn't the Infantry/Special Forces get special treatment"? Those serve no one, and only piss people off quickly. I've never heard a woman admit she was wrong. Some technicality, something I heard was wrong, something I said was wrong....for example: she said Pluto is still a planet, I say no......she says Pluto IS a planet. Argument over.....she won.

And Dalla$$ fans. Can't stand the owner, the team, the stadium, nothing about them. #HTTR4EVA. But God knows that already, and to show how much he doesn't he sent them Tony Romo...guaranteeing them great numbers in play, with no shot at a ring.

I have had my share of scraps with people on RP but if I were wrong or mistaken, I would acknowledge it and ask to be forgiven. I try not to be (overly) combative but I try not say anything that I would regret later (unless you poke the bear by being purposefully obtuse or hateful. Then I will layeth the smacketh down!)

I enjoy discussing politics and events with people who don't agree with me. I learn more that way. I try not to get flustered or bent out of shape, usually I'm successful but not always.

I have, in the past, been blatantly wrong about things, but I never edit the post to change it. Instead, I own up to it and acknowledge that I screwed the pooch. As such, I'd be fine with your scenario. I don't mistreat people here.
