If my wife and I separate or divorce, why can't she still finish school and get an education chapter 35 fee waiver? 2019-04-12T13:19:54-04:00 SSG Bridgett Phelps 4537927 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Shes attending college of marin why is she not entitled for her service to me my dissability and 100 percent status? Chapter 35 is &quot;Dependents&#39; Educational Assistant Program&quot;. If she&#39;s no longer viewed as a dependent in the VA&#39;s eyes, they wont pay for her education. She signed no contract tho part of the Army Family, her rights, etc. are curtailed. and his has NO service status.
