I want to be a veterinarian in the future and am working on things now to make that a reality and feel the MOS will be useful and something that would benefit me more in the civilian world than being a 92Y and wanted to know if switching would be possible in my situation.

Now I'm clear it's not all rainbows and glitter, nor will it be an easy process, and me needing a waiver just to get in puts me in a low position of power. So I mean I'll take a 92Y, as I feel it's tolerable at the least and could prove semi-useful if utilized correctly, but I'd prefer a 68T.

So is it possible to switch my MOS (never went through AIT btw)? Like I said, I'll take the other one as it's not completely useless, and I understand I'm in no real position to get what I want, but I'm not about to play the 'coulda, woulda, shoulda' game with myself again. If my waiver gets approved, is it possible go from 92Y to 68T? 2018-06-24T18:44:25-04:00 Christian King 3739387

Since I'm waiting back to hear from my recruiter, I got curious and looked into other MOS's and found I liked 68T.
