PO1 Private RallyPoint Member 5840412

I may be issued orders to an OCONUS unit. For various reasons, I intend to perform the tour unaccompanied (24 months tour length, sea/deployable). If my family remains INCONUS, what BAH rate will I draw? I have been in the MILPERSMAN, but it's pretty vague (or I'm reading it wrong).

Additionally, my family currently lives in base housing, and is very happy with it; assuming that I continue to draw BAH for the CONUS location, will my family be allowed to remain in the current housing arrangement?

Thanks in advance. If my family remains in CONUS while I do an unaccompanied tour, what BAH rate will I draw? Will my family be allowed to remain in housing? 2020-05-02T02:19:35-04:00 PO1 Private RallyPoint Member 5840412

I may be issued orders to an OCONUS unit. Some bases have sufficient quarters available to allow them to remain, others need to limit those in quarters to the dependents of those assigned to that base or resident units.
