Sometimes an amount that high requires sign off from your chain of command, perhaps a senior officer. But in my limited experiences with this you can get it through as long as your personal CoC is supportive. Not sure if it&#39;s the same for the Army, but be aware that I had to route a Terminal package a full 30 days before I was due to take Terminal, so you might be coming up on a deadline soon which could delay your Terminal start date. I always saw people take 2 weeks, and then come back for a couple days to clear, and then take their terminal leave. A lot of it depends on your chain of command. If you were retiring they’d be a lot more lenient. My advice? Take the 30 if that’s all they’ll let you take and sell back the balance.
