SSG Private RallyPoint Member Sat, 09 Nov 2013 08:29:52 -0500 2013-11-09T08:29:52-05:00 https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/if-my-brigade-is-closing-is-there-a-good-chance-i-could-request-a-specific-duty-station?n=4778&urlhash=4778 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>With the Brigades closing, many Soldiers will be absorbed into existing units and others will be PCS'd.  If there is a duty station that you want to get moved to, your best bet is to contact your branch manager and discuss it with them.  There is no guarantee they will send you there, but they are a good start.  If you know someone at the unit you want to go to, you can talk with them and see if they can get their chain of command to request you also...this may help in combination with branch.
