If I was attached to a unit for a TAD, and they received a unit award, do I rate it as well?

If I was attached to a unit for a TAD and they received a unit award, do I rate it as well? I don’t have the orders for that trip but I do have an award that I received showing the dates I was with them. Any help would be appreciated m, thank you.

The message from appropriate Service Secretary via Service will clearly spell out award criteria. Dates, locations, even latitude/longitude, attachments, agencies, sometimes by name. Yeah, go ahead and talk with your S1. They will tell you then and there if you rate it or not.

Talk to your S1. As long as your TAD orders were in compliance you should be good to go.

If you were attached on orders for the minimum amount of,time required for the unit award IAW 600-8-22 and the Order authroizing the decoration then Yes.
