We’re not just changing the name; we’re changing the content and providing a modern look and feel that today’s Soldier identifies with. The content is also being fully redesigned, with the multiple-guess testing coming to a well-deserved end. Soldiers will spend less time trying to game the system and more time trying to work their way through the situational training in the modules.

Once complete, the DLC will consist of six levels, where the Army will auto-enroll a Soldier upon completion of initial military training and each NCO PME course. We’re also working to change auto-enrollment upon Soldier being eligible for promotion."

 Marching Forward With NCOPDS

Providing a climate of steady personal and professional growth within the noncommissioned officer corps is a vital component of nurturing strong leaders and maintaining overall readiness.

Response by SFC Stephen King made Jul 5 at 2018 4:01 PM 2018-07-05T16:01:11-04:00 2018-07-05T16:01:11-04:00 SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member 3770267

I’m sure you’ll be grandfathered in if you already completed a ssd level or are enrolled in a course you’ll have a drop dead date. For example, I never went to wlc or did ssd 1 because of prior service, but in my records it’s listed as “constructive credit”. That makes me believe that you will be grandfathered.

I know I have one more module to suffer through in SSD4. While I am curious about the new course, I am going I won't have to take it after all the effort I have put in for SSD Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 8 at 2018 8:10 AM 2018-11-08T08:10:34-05:00 2018-11-08T08:10:34-05:00 2018-07-05T15:28:25-04:00
