If I switch to NG, can I still use my Post 9/11 GI Bill while I’m serving in the NG?

So I was been planning on switching NG and was wondering could I still use my Post 9/11 Gi bill
While I’m serving in the NG?

I know that the Post 9/11 bill is best for me seeming as they pay for my school,books and BAH

I would like to know is that possible?

As to that, directly, I honestly don't know...I was in when the VEAP thing existed, where one would chip in up to $2700 total, with $5400 matching, I eventually had to take out what was left of the $2700 I'd chipped in, after I'd gotten out, as I needed it at one point...dumb, I know, I suppose, however, I had to, plus, it was a long time ago, of course...however, one thing you might possibly ask about, if you can go to a state school, is that there are states that allow vet tuition waivers, generally undergrad, often needing combat or overseas deployment, however, you might at least ask...then, too, many states often allow tuition waivers for vets in their own states, provided they're legal residents, if they drill with either ARNG or ANG in that state...you'd have to ask, of course, however, I should certainly think it'd be a worthwhile thing to ask about, you know? Purely out of curiosity, being as I have an interest in career/educ topics, what undergrad major would you want? A STEM topic? Non-STEM? Would you want to do an ROTC at all? Did you want senior enlisted, ultimately? Warrant? Commissioned? If you'd care to elaborate at all, I might possibly be able to suggest things for you...also, did you do any undergrad at all while you were in? Did you also get a mil transcript from either DANTES or Amer Council on Educ. (ACE)? If you haven't, I'd certainly ask about getting one, if at all possible...then, too, if you went ANG as opposed to ARNG, you could also make use, I think of Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), which you might care to look up the sites for, I'm pretty sure there's a Wikipedia page on it, if you'd care to chat at all, I'm here, no rush, whenever convenient, of course....

You can use it while in the NG and even double dip if your state offers something comparable to the GI bill but you usually have to sign at least a 3 year contract to rate that.

Yes, you can ETS, join the Guard and use your GI Bill.

A lot of MDAYs in the Guard do this as their job for three years.

Lots of people do that. Save up a few thousand for the year before you ETS and make sure you separate with no car loans or other debts. BAH sounds like a lot until you realize you're paying for more with less than you were making before. Statistically, a large percentage of veterans don't finish their degree because the financial difficulty was more than they expected.
