Everything went fine with my part two, but doc said she would have to have the Aviation Psychiatrist look at my BH record and confirm I’m good to go. Over a year ago my wife caught me looking at pornography and insisted that I go to BH about it because she thought I was “addicted”. I love my wife and we had been having some marital problems, and I felt like I needed to talk to someone about it. (We’ve since worked things out and everything is great!) I am worried that for some reason this may disqualify me, any insight on the situation would be fantastic.

Thanks in advance! If I saw BH for some marital issues a while back, will it affect my class 4 flight physical? 2021-02-01T20:18:39-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 6712475

I am attempting to get my class 4 flight physical in order to reclass to 15C. Two things happened here, the provider involved with your process read something in your BH file that concerned them or they did not open it at all. I would be inclined to think something concerned them as any of us with a need to know can get access to BH records. Best advice is do not disclose anything else on here and wait for their review. I know this is not the reassuring answer you are looking for but it is reality. You essentially got marriage counseling, which is fine. With no diagnosis and no stated condition, there is no reason to hold your packet up.

All of that is in a perfect world, of course. I cannot guarantee that you are good to go - I am not the one reviewing your packet. And if your provider at the time DID note a condition, or even a potential condition or behavioral issue (notation of which you may or may not know about), then red flags could go up.

If Aviation Psych said she is taking care of it, just standby. If she gave your packet back to you for BH eval, then submit to BH ASAP - and then stand by.
