If I receive a bonus for going back in as a Reservist and changing my job, do I get my bonus when I in-process or when I out to AIT?

I recently received a bonus for going back in as a reservist and changing my job, do I get my bonus as I inprocess or go out to AIT?

It depends. If it’s a one time bonus you should get it when you go in. If it’s a supposed to be paid over time, you should get yearly payments.

normally after- why pay you and then take it back if you fail?

Typically bonuses are paid in increments after initial training is compete. It will be stipulated in your contract. Check with your recruiting team or retention NCO

Sorry , I signed up and I inprocess to my unit from the IRR , I was 4 years active , I signed up for a lump sum payment , Was wondering if anybody knew the normal timeframe to recieve it in my situation?
