Mine was done in less than 60 days, but I’ve seen other in limbo for much longer.

Get with your recruiter or whoever is requesting the 368 on your behalf and speak with your first line leader to see what you can do. Took 5 and a half months to get my 368 signed. Once I got it back at the end of March 2018, I was at the recruiters the very next day. 2 weeks later I was at MEPS picking my MOS and a few weeks after that I was back at MEPS swearing in and leaving for my new mos school. Whether you reclass or not is dependent on the current prior service business rules which as of Jan 14, all MOS's are open for grades E1-E4 with a few exceptions. 92F is open so you would get to keep your job and likely direct report to your duty station. If you would like to change MOS, get promoted as they become more restrictive and give you a higher likelihood of having to be retrained as you hit E5 and E6. Google Army Prior Service business rules and look at the result on the goarmy site. It explains everything. The time it takes seriously depends on your command's support. Getting it signed at the company and battalion level should be a breeze. The hang up usually happens at the 2-star level where it can sit for weeks and even months. It helps if you have established rapport with your BN S1 who will do weekly or so check-ins to see what's the status update of the general signing it. Make sure your 368 is pristine when submitted up to eliminate possibility for it to be kicked back. 2LT Private RallyPoint Member Sun, 27 Jan 2019 22:40:08 -0500 2019-01-27T22:40:08-05:00 2019-01-27T00:55:55-05:00
