If I attend Phase-1 and Phase-2 at Ft. Sam, at what point do I get PCS orders?

Let's suppose that based on the ATTRS catalog and the cycle that determines phase-2 locations, I will be attending Phase-2 at Ft. Sam. When would I get PCS orders? Would dependent travel be authorized off the bat? Or is Phase-1 still TDY?

You should get cut full PCS orders to depart for phase 1.

In the last week of class your entire class that finishes with you will get your orders and you report that last day to Dco ( if I remember correctly) at the BAMC or SAMCN which ever it is called now. I did my phase 2 there as well that was how we did it back is 2007.

Don’t stress - lots of people will have input and advice but you will get your orders when you receive them. You don’t plan when your going to receive those orders you plan how your going to react. It’s going to be alright, always a little stressful but you will manage just like many of us before you.

So my phase 2 was also at Sam. When I got my PCS orders to go to Fort Sam, I was authorized to stay off post from the beginning. My orders were for both Phases. I did receive an additional set of orders for phase 2 once I completed phase 1.
