Lived in on post housing. I was IET and had to wait until I hit phase 5+, submit the paperwork, got it approved to live off post 5 months after arrivingResponse by WO1 Private RallyPoint Member made May 27 at 2019 12:03 PM2019-05-27T12:03:38-04:002019-05-27T12:03:38-04:00SGT Gregory Cole4672834<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I reclassed and had to stay with the new recruits the whole time. It pretty much boils down to space and availability of accommodations. If you do as it was suggested, then you have a better chance of not being treated like a recruit again.Response by SGT Gregory Cole made May 27 at 2019 12:46 PM2019-05-27T12:46:37-04:002019-05-27T12:46:37-04:00SSG Brian G.4672954<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Any school over 20 weeks and yes, your family can accompany you. You need to have them on your orders. It should be that you will be restricted during the first 2 phases of AIT, just as the other trainees, but after that you can live with them. <br /><br />Even so, being prior service you will not have the same restrictions as new trainees.Response by SSG Brian G. made May 27 at 2019 1:48 PM2019-05-27T13:48:56-04:002019-05-27T13:48:56-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member4673590<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Look at you current orders!
