If I am on the DA Promote list, what does this mean?

I was told I am DA Promotable. I researched regulations and got confused. It states that there will be 350 points awarded to promote. Is this automatic or do I have to have this minimum to get DA promoted? What does DA promotion mean?

You have met the basic minimum requirements to make it onto the Promotion List. Now, you have to meet/exceed the promotion points needed in order to promote to SGT.

You have hit the requirements to be integrated into MLI and require BLC and the minimum points to be promoted.

I think you're looking at an old version of the reg. The old version was that once you became part of the automated integrated list, you would be promotable but only have the minimum number of points.

Now it is the mandatory integrated list and for all intents and purposes you have just become promotable without attending a board. However, if your command does not believe you should be promotable, they can bar you
