If I am going to Hawaii on an unaccompanied PCS, and I bring my spouse, am I able to submit for reimbursement for lodging and food expenses?

I am PCSing to Hawaii unaccompanied. I am currently receiving the with dependent rate due to child support exceeding the BAH diff rate. I got married prior to PSC and enrolled my spouse into DEERS. I will not have enough time to add her to my orders prior to PCSing. I will be arriving to Hawaii with my spouse and will provide lodging for her and I during the two week quarantine and until we find a home out of pocket. I am wondering if once I arrive to Hawaii will I be able to submit a travel voucher for that to be reimbursed for my lodging and food expenses?

If you don't have her added then you will not have command sponsorship. As far as the Army is concerned she is not going and you will he responsible for all her costs and you will he treated as a single Soldier meaning you reside in the barracks. You would have to pay out of pocket for housing in Hawaii which would be exorbitantly expensive.

Just get her command sponsorship and once she is added the Army will fly her over, or else get your orders deferred for it. If you requested this assignment through retention you could have this deferment done by next week.

So you are aware Hawaii BAH for an E-5 is $2900. So do not bring your wife thinking you will live off what the army is already paying you
