Yes an indictment doesn't mean she is guilty. But that would be Debbie Wasserman Schultz's call & Hillary would have to spend considerable time with her legal team defending herself for this indictment.

But it is an interesting question that I have thought often about and if indicted will Hillary again say "What difference does it make?'

Sir, I think it is a mute point! I heard on the Local 10 p.m. News that Obama had ordered a postponement of the FBIs investigation until after the Nov presidential elections. I have been saying for a couple of months, that even if she is indicted, Obama will just pardon her. Obama wants her to get elected to continue some, several or most of his programs. Just like Ford did for Nixon on the Watergate scandal she would walk free. I will have to google the reports of postponement to see if it is widely verified. I will do so and try to get back to you on it.

An indictment only means there is enough evidence to proceed with a trial.

I honestly believe that even if she were convicted 60% of the die hard liberals would vote for her anyway. And yes I believe there are conservatives that would vote republican no matter what.

Saw the other day that people were signing a petition in favor of mandatory euthanasia of the aged if the government asked to do it.

That is how much of a follower many have become. Sad.

That may explain why Bernie isn't dropping out. Wouldn't that be a sight, Hillary walks up on stage to accept the nomination and have FBI agents walk up and put handcuffs on her. I'd give a paycheck for a ticket to watch that.

Political parties can nominate literally anyone they want. So yes, she would be "allowed" to be the candidate. Whether it would be wise for the democrats to do that or not, is a different question.

Unless I am missing something, don't you have to be convicted to be granted a pardon or commutation? How this is resolved is fete acompli, and the details on how to inform the masses is all that remains. Particularly since CGI doesn't have to open their books for 27 months. That, IMO, was the real reason for the inappropriate meeting between Bill and Loretta was.

Its been said on World news that she WINT be indicted. Such bull cause any of us would be at Levanworth already awaiting trial and shes looking at running the USA? What the hell have we come to? What will she release as President? Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) said Sunday that he thinks it's unlikely that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will be indicted over her use of a private email server to conduct official business.

"I'm not worried about it," Brown said. “I think that there won’t be an indictment, and I think that means she did what many secretaries of state have done in the past,” he added, referring to Clinton's use of a nongovernment email address, although she is the only secretary of state to have built and used a personal email server functioning out of her home.

In defending Clinton, Brown mainly sought to go on offense against Clinton’s presumptive general election opponent Donald Trump.

“I think what this story is missing is all we don’t know about Donald Trump,” Brown told ABC’s Martha Raddatz on “This Week.” He went on to refer to what he said was Clinton’s strong record of public disclosure on things like her tax returns and health care records and compared that to Trump’s.

“That’s a contrast we need to make,” he said.

Yes, if she is merely indicted she can still run for President, only an actual conviction for criminal actions could get her impeached, and then really only if she did the criminal deeds while President. It is doubtful that Congress would impeach her, and even is she was impeached, she would refuse to leave office. Remember that she has already been repeatedly fired for corruption and dishonest acts when she was on the WaterGate teams. I also seem to recall her husband was impeached, but refused to leave office as well, so it may be a family sort of thing.

Have you studied the General Petraeus case?? The DOJ found he committed a felony by sharing classified data with his biographer. But Gen Petraeus was offered a plea deal & he agreed plead guilty and pay a hefty fine. The General did and then AG Eric Holder reduced his crime to a misdemeanor .
