If a run is miscalculated on a APFT, what happens to the rest of the test? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/if-a-run-is-miscalculated-on-a-apft-what-happens-to-the-rest-of-the-test

So we took a pt test for NCOes school and the instructors went to the wrong turn around point, so they are making everyone including the ones who biked redue the pt test is this right? If the data points are faulty then you have the same obligation as the instructors to make it correct. I recommend everyone Soldier up and do it the right way this time. For one, the school itself has to correctly assess each NCO attending the NCOES school. They made poor judgement and should have had better leadership in place to ensure proper distance for the 2-mile run. I for sure wouldn't be too happy either if the instructors missed the correct turn-around point. As much as no one wants to redo their APFT, the standard is a 2-mile on the run. Were you short or over? Also you would know something isn't right if your time was way off being a plus or minus. Depends on how much the course was off too.

As leaders, sometimes you have to just drive on despite the circumstances. Basically, fire and adjust as we say here and move out and draw fire. Hopefully they won't miss the turn-around point again. Good luck SGT Perkins and do good things out there for your unit. The entire APFT is invalid without an approved aerobic event. If the aerobic event wasn't to standard, it cancels out the whole APFT.
