If the data points are faulty then you have the same obligation as the instructors to make it correct. I recommend everyone Soldier up and do it the right way this time.Response by CMDCM Gene Treants made Jul 26 at 2014 9:54 PM2014-07-26T21:54:19-04:002014-07-26T21:54:19-04:00SSgt Private RallyPoint Member187081<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Mistakes are made, just need to some time to recover then new test.Response by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 26 at 2014 10:01 PM2014-07-26T22:01:51-04:002014-07-26T22:01:51-04:00CPT Jacob Swartout187092<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Unfortunately, I am leaning toward yes. For one, the school itself has to correctly assess each NCO attending the NCOES school. They made poor judgement and should have had better leadership in place to ensure proper distance for the 2-mile run. I for sure wouldn't be too happy either if the instructors missed the correct turn-around point. As much as no one wants to redo their APFT, the standard is a 2-mile on the run. Were you short or over? Also you would know something isn't right if your time was way off being a plus or minus. Depends on how much the course was off too. <br /><br />As leaders, sometimes you have to just drive on despite the circumstances. Basically, fire and adjust as we say here and move out and draw fire. Hopefully they won't miss the turn-around point again. Good luck SGT Perkins and do good things out there for your unit.Response by CPT Jacob Swartout made Jul 26 at 2014 10:16 PM2014-07-26T22:16:33-04:002014-07-26T22:16:33-04:00SSG William Sutter187200<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes. The entire APFT is invalid without an approved aerobic event. If the aerobic event wasn't to standard, it cancels out the whole APFT.Response by SSG William Sutter made Jul 27 at 2014 12:00 AM2014-07-27T00:00:15-04:002014-07-27T00:00:15-04:00SSG Keven Lahde245506<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="31907" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/31907-12m-firefighter">SGT Private RallyPoint Member</a> SGT did they know the course or was it a new one?
