But when do you draw the line on what you should change because someone in the public doesn't like it. Example: someone took a picture of someone dropping off food for the guys at the gate working 14hours a day and unable to leave the gate. Our cheif saw the pic and it was an issue, is this to far or no?I would like to hear from the higher ups (E-8/9 and O-3+) about professional perception. Accomplishment of the mission<br />2 ...health and welfare of the troops<br />3... with out 1 + 2 you are screwed... or as an old SGM used to as Look for a new Job son... Did that happen? Or did they call from the gate and order delivery? Depends on the context.<br />I couldn't chastise someone for eating Chinese food in lieu of an MRE. If they ordered from the Mandarin House and had it delivered....eh, that's different. If their battle buddy or spouse/significant other brought them food... A lot of other people can eat whenever they want, the Security Police don't always have that mobility and if the Chief didn't support His own men shame on Him ! I find that response from a senior NCO or Officer disgusting and I'm glad I never had to work for anyone like that!
