I went to SRC last week to in-process for a year duty in Germany (I am in the Reserves) and they found me non-deployable. Usually if it's temporary they get you off active duty before 29 days. If it's permanent they can do the same thing then work towards a mex-board. You can fight it, first get that AIC down below 6.0 if you want to stay in, that means exercise, and change you diet. The when you do SRP and they find an issue, there are hard no goes. There are other things that they can request waiver from the Combatant commands medical. It is based on whether they can support you or not based on proximity of treatment, nature of medication, austerity of the location. It is not automatic and it takes time. They may elect to swap you out in lieu of waiver. LTC Jason Mackay Sun, 14 Jan 2018 01:01:26 -0500 2018-01-14T01:01:26-05:00 2018-01-13T22:08:54-05:00
