I was placed in a MEB in 2017. However, I waived the right to it and am getting out(reluctantly). Are you getting out because its the end of your contract? Are you Active Duty and finished your time? Why did you waive your MEB board unless you planned on staying in I would of never gave one of my marines that advice unless they planned on staying in. It could be medical which would be honorable if you were injured durning training, and not during drinking and driving.
a MEB is a good way to get a proper diagnosis and compensation for any ailments. Don't be so hasty to get out that you overlook your benefits.
Also, make sure you get all your medical paperwork and file with the VA. Email me if you want more info.
