SrA Stephanie Bowen2370997<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Recently I have been seeing on Social Media that other people that have been Medically Retired have been receiving Retirement Certificates upon being Medically Retired. The only thingsolution I got once my MEB came back were my DD214 and my walking orders. I was wondering if this was normal practice or if I should have received a Certificate also?I was Permanently Retired from the Air Force due to a MEB. Was I supposed to get a Retirement Certificate along with my DD214 and orders?2017-02-24T23:23:52-05:00SrA Stephanie Bowen2370997<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Recently I have been seeing on Social Media that other people that have been Medically Retired have been receiving Retirement Certificates upon being Medically Retired. You should be able to request one from any local Air Force Base personnel office. The DD214 and MEB Record of Decision are the documents you really need for other purposes (like proof of service & your medical retirement, and to possibly request your Certificate of Retirement).Response by Col Mark I. made Feb 25 at 2017 2:16 AM2017-02-25T02:16:26-05:002017-02-25T02:16:26-05:00SGM Erik Marquez2372783<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>POLICY.
