You receive retirement orders. <br />DD214s are for leaving active military service. Outside of training, ie BCT, AIT and Schools where you ever deployed, called up, or active duty for a consecutive period of 90 days or more? <br /><br />22 years would have put you entering service 99&#39;- 2000 era and there were a lot of callups and deployments in the intervening years from them to now. Hard to conceive that as a gunner you were not called up for at least one or more.
