Basically you have to prove that whatever the disqualifying condition was for your discharge no longer exists. You will need to provide all medical treatment records on the condition, to include a current status from your own doctor. If it was OW, then you have to pass ht, wt, and BF. If you are still OW, then lose it before you talk to a recruiter. Walking into a recruiting office fat trying to get back after getting kicked out for being fat is not going to get you anywhere. I would ask them, “What have you done today to start your plan?” I only ever had a handful make any meaningful progress. As for your waiver process, work on the disqualification that you have control over first, that being your weight. Then heed the advice you were previously given and review your situation with a current recruiter. Keep in mind, the likelihood of them starting a waiver review with you before meeting body fat is low. 1SG Jeremy Evans Thu, 08 Mar 2018 18:32:17 -0500 2018-03-08T18:32:17-05:00 Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 8 at 2018 9:28 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/i-was-discharged-out-the-army-during-basic-training-with-a-re3-jfw-can-i-re-enlist?n=3428853&urlhash=3428853 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What are you bringing to the table for the Army to let you back in?
