I was at Camp Pendelton and observed this Ship. What kind of Ship/Vessel is this?

I am at Camp Pendelton for a few days observing a BDE doing a JLOTS exercise and I am fascinated by the ships I see by the main gate. I tried to google these ships and I had no luck. I see the Palo Alto # 32 and the Monterey # 28.

Well, much as I hate to admit it, Army does have a lot of other ships/boats in addition to these LCU's. Let's not forget the Corps of Engineers and all they do to keep our waterways clear. Then there are lots of Prepositioning Ships, not all of which belong to Navy.

I've seen this before when I was stationed aboard Camp Pendleton in 21 area. The vessel came down from up north. We had two trans companies that had the lighter thirties but for the best of me can't recall its name
