I'm somewhat in the field. I teach future health executives in a Master of Health Administration program. If you broadly define the health industry as being more than the healthcare delivery side (which would include insurance payers, pharmaceutical manufacturing, durable medical equipment manufacturing, biotech firms, consulting, education, etc.), you'll catch me.

Was an 11B/91B while in. I have worked as a Paramedic and currently as a RN in an Emergency Department. I have worked in Trauma/Cardiac/Stroke centers, Wilderness EMS, and Critical Care Transport.

I was a 68C (Practical Nurse) while active duty, but obtained my RN while still active duty. However, that was not the end of my education or experiences. I am now a Nurse Practitioner.

I was a 91B Medical Specialist ( Medic) and served my entire hitch in West Germany 1980-1983. After separating from the Army I went into the Construction Business and became a licensed general contractor in California but in the early 90's the economy was bad. I then entered the Healthcare industry and have been working as a Surgical Technologist for the past 27 years.
