Have you talked to a recruiter yet? They should be able to point you in the right direction. I've seen plent RE codes waived. You need recommendation letters and a O-3 or higher to recommend the waiver. I was in from 89-98 active and 2 years reserves. I requested and was granted early seperation from my 2nd enlistment due to family circumstances with an honorable discharge . I have since built a very successful real estate business in 3 different states. I have always long to go back in and in 2005 I discovered the re code, (@ this time I don't have it. But I will post) I do work closely with our states leaders and see if I can make headway there as well as speak to the recruiting office again. Thank you all so much. I am sure it is still the same as when I was in and they need MP's out the wazzu, we were always under staffed even at the Direct Support units OCONUS we were not at full platoon strength.
