You have to see if your state has a Med unit with open slots. I know my state does not have a hospital. The Army reserves have a great deal more 68C positions at several different ranks than does the National Guard (to my knowledge). I got my LPN in 1997 and thought about going into the Guard or reserves in Erie, Pa. decided not too and moved back to Ky. Got my Liscense transferred to Kentucky; but I got hurt and never worked again as a nurse. I thought they did away with LPN’s in the service?
