I told him then that he wasn't ready as he was still fit, doing an awesome job and enjoyed the service. He was out two years and came back in, the Army brought him back at MSG and he worked with dignified transfers. That was back 2010 time frame. I would contact your Regimental CSM and see if you could get them on board they would know where and if there was a need for SGM in your branch. The problem with bringing us old dogs back is that it stymies a young buck from progressing.Response by CSM Richard StCyr made Nov 6 at 2018 2:19 PM2018-11-06T14:19:56-05:002018-11-06T14:19:56-05:00CSM Thomas McGarry4105814<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I think I would start by talking to the SM Branch folks at HRC and see what they say...Good Luck!Response by CSM Thomas McGarry made Nov 6 at 2018 3:31 PM2018-11-06T15:31:01-05:002018-11-06T15:31:01-05:00CSM Michael Chavaree4105876<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I would assume unlikely, however... you never know. I get that civilian life is not the same, and there are many aspects of my military life I miss, so I can empathize with you, but, your time has past, and much has changed since we both retired in 2015. Time to let the younger generation take the lead, because it's going to happen regardless.Response by SSG Robert Perrotto made Nov 7 at 2018 10:25 AM2018-11-07T10:25:06-05:002018-11-07T10:25:06-05:00CSM David Porterfield4108983<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I know a CSM who came out of retirement a few years back but had to come back as a MSG.Response by CSM David Porterfield made Nov 7 at 2018 8:52 PM2018-11-07T20:52:30-05:002018-11-07T20:52:30-05:00CSM Andrew Perrault4115279<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>hell CSM you're the one folks go to for answers or you're suppose to know where to go get them......Do some research and not on Rally Point...……….Good Luck...………..Response by CSM Andrew Perrault made Nov 10 at 2018 9:14 AM2018-11-10T09:14:16-05:002018-11-10T09:14:16-05:00CSM Private RallyPoint Member4123324<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>David....good to see you again.
