If big Army lets the truckers get exposed what do you think they allow to Infantry. As a security element, combat arms can take civilians without any training into the battlefield. The harsh reality is the people that fill the ranks of Infantry range from not that bright to super bright. I think people are too judgmental. There's no room to be offended by hard nosed training, as it may cause someone to think they're being ill perceived. The enemy perceives you how? Without hesitation and disregard for the fabric of your being. It's not the mouth or brain, when it comes down to it. You're all linked by a common, core mission that assumes even the newest, Air Wing, Headquarters personnel...are still Marines. You go through significant training to wear that title, and I've never known a Marine to fail to justly defend it.

Talk is cheap- but I think there's only one question any of us can ask, and that's if we personally feel we did our best. In the infantry they are told from the first day that they are the cream of the crop. They are the best the Army has to offer, women want them, and men want to be them. I mean you get it, you are a Marine nobody is better than the Corps at making you believe you are at a higher standard that other branches.

Every branch of the Army has some sense of elitist in their MOS.
