They won’t even spin the wheels on your investigation until you have started basic. Then they work your clearance through basic and AIT. Many people go through AIT on an interim clearance. This is definitely not a concern. Don&#39;t sweat the small stuff you haven&#39;t even ship to training yet these things take time. If you do not get the clearance before you start AIT Standardly they will provide and intrim unless something bad is found stopping your clearance from going through. If that happens then they may reclass you. I was simply restricted access until it was completed. Don&#39;t sweat it. Focus on completing Basic and AIT. If you reach your first assignment without the needed clearance, then they can work an interim Secret for you while your TS is processed.
