You need to pass the PT test and get a clean Honorable Discharge......because a Chapter will stay with you forever as a code on your DD214.<br /><br />This is nothing new either, they did this back in the 1980&#39;s when I was in uniform. Once you have your very last ETS Physical with the Army, you should be legally restricted from partaking in anymore PT because they do not want your physical status to change prior to discharge. You have not had that physical yet though, if you had they would not have issued the above threat. My only advice is to get hydrated and do whatever it is you do to motivate yourself and go out there and perform like you life or the life of a loved one is on the line. If you pass it, great. If not, start asking questions about the legality of this then. I find it strange that the CoC would instate such as measure unless there has been pattern of failure for sometime. Is it legal/possible- hmm Yes, if it is one more failure in a string of them, then you could be chaptered out at any point in your time in. The part about the physical is true, but I saw very few get their physical scheduled more than 60 days out. Think you better pass the damn test!
