I'm just not sure if my disability would increase. If I'm somehow able to get 100% I'd get a property tax exemption which would be nice. SPC Jeff Hogan, M.S., M.P.S. Keep in mind some things can be lumped together and not increase anything. Instead of worrying about getting 100 percent worry about getting the problems you have corrected. This most likely would not be the best place on how to get a 100% rating so you can get a tax discount. Some people with real 100% ratings from limb loss or other catastrophic loss might be more than a little offended. Make a list of everything that is wrong with you that you can service connect, or secondary problems which have happens due to service connected conditions. Go to your doctor and have him complete the DBQ's for each one. Then go see a VSO and get his or her input. Then file for the claims as a fully developed claim. This is the fastest way possible. I am currently at 70% and have claims in right now for 8 other items most of them secondary conditions along with IU. Feel free to ask away if you have any questions, i am not an expert but i have been through the process. I am sitting at preparing for final decision right now on my current claim.
