When I finished my bachelor's degree I received a letter from a one star congratulating me. My mom took it from me when she was visiting. Can't remember his name or where he was from, but I thought it was pretty cool.

At my last base I received a letter from my commander. Here at Whiteman I got a letter with a one day pass and some B2 shaped cookies. (Our squadron CC here is a B2 pilot.)

I got a letter from a Two Star Admiral congratulating me on my promotion to E5.

I got a letter from my First Sargent telling me to stop stealing supplies from the unit next to us. There had been death threats made. Who knew they needed all that C-wire and Hescos? If you don't lock up a 5 ton I am pretty sure it means you don't want it. Just saying.
