How can I go about getting my high school credentials that helped me become qualified to join the Marines?

When I entered the Marines it was contingent upon my receiving my high school diploma by completing the curriculums I did so and never received Credentials how can I go about obtaining such? Please help

Credentials? Are you asking how to get a copy of your diploma/transcripts? If you just need a copy of records reach out to the school district. They maintain records and it will be fairly issue to get a copy of what you need.

Contact the admin office at the HS from which you think you graduated Ask for a copy of your HS transcript. If they don’t have it they can tell you what office in your school district keeps transcripts. Worked for my wife when she needed a transcript 30 years after graduation

In civilian world I was a high school counselor. You have to contact your school district and request those docs. The docs are your transcripts and diploma. You can request them online. Probably cost a few bucks. But the docs the military received are not yours they are copies of your transcripts and diploma and now belong to HR. You can try and request copies through your S1 but it will be quicker and easier to just get them from your school district.

As others have said, you have to reach out to your school. They have them. Hell, I enlisted when I was 38. So my school had to go back 20 years and pull them off microfilm.

ALSO!!!!!!!!!! be prepared, the Army wanted to see my ACTUAL ORIGINAL DIPLOMA!!!!!!!!!! Thank god I'm anal about hanging onto that crap (20 years later). I presume the USMC is more stringent. So I'd recommend getting a copy/duplicate diploma from the school if they will print one for you. The cost will be worth the preparation.

Also, why do you have LCpl in your profile? Are you trying to get back in?

You never got your high school diploma? Contact the school where you graduated from and see if they still have a record of the diploma or your course credits you achieved in high school.

Do you just want to have it just because or do you need it for something? How did you join the Marines if you didn't have your diploma when you joined?

OK. I'm confused. It sounded like you were trying to get INTO or BACK into the Marines and it was contingent upon you providing a HD Diploma.

Are you just trying to get your Diploma from your school 39 years after your service obligation was completed as a condition of graduation?

That's going to take some forensic reconstruction.
1) HS transcripts
2) Document or contract stating you needed to serve in the USMC to complete graduation
3) Documentation of completed service in the USMC

Then provide that 39 years after the fact.
