CPL(P) Private RallyPoint Member7837170<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am supposed to ETS 2022OCT04 due to RCP. RCP recently was extended, but my ETS date has stayed the same. HRC has turned down my re-enlistment packet, saying that I have to promote in order to be able to re-enlist. I am E4 Promotable, set to make the list for Oct 1st promotions. I have more than enough points for my 92Y MOS to make Sgt. I am currently overseas on TDY. I have been working closely with S1 and my Command for months to try everything possible, and we continue to hit roadblocks with HRC. I am motivated and determined to continue my career in the Army. What is the likelihood of being able to re-enlist after I'm promoted in October before my ETS on 2022OCT04? And will this pending "brown out" affect my ability to re-enlist at all? What more can we do?I need some advice. I am set to ETS due to RCP, I am trying to re-enlist, but I am hitting roadblocks with HRC. Any advice?2022-08-22T18:24:43-04:00CPL(P) Private RallyPoint Member7837170<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am supposed to ETS 2022OCT04 due to RCP. Sounds like you have done all you can. I would think as soon as your promoted you should be able to re-enlist or extend. But I’ll tag a couple gentleman who will probably have a better answer. <a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="148812" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/148812-79s-career-counselor-usaraf-hq-usaraf-setaf">SFC Private RallyPoint Member</a> <a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="198196" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/198196-68s-preventive-medicine-specialist-807th-mdsc-hhc-807th-mdsc">MSG Private RallyPoint Member</a>Response by MSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 23 at 2022 1:40 PM2022-08-23T13:40:20-04:002022-08-23T13:40:20-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member7838322<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Are you working with a Career Counselor? This is a very simple fix with the current extended RCP. RCP didn't automatically change for anyone, you have to specifically request. It's illegal for the Army to just change your ETS if you don't request it. <br /><br />If you need you can email me at [login to see] from your military email.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 23 at 2022 1:51 PM2022-08-23T13:51:16-04:002022-08-23T13:51:16-04:00SFC David Reid, M.S, PHR, SHRM-CP, DTM7843758<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Who are you speaking with regarding your situation.Response by SFC David Reid, M.S, PHR, SHRM-CP, DTM made Aug 26 at 2022 2:30 AM2022-08-26T02:30:17-04:002022-08-26T02:30:17-04:002022-08-22T18:24:43-04:00
