PT will determine if you need one, from there what model, size and the like. the unit normally is custom made for you so it takes about 6 weeks for the company from the time they get the order to it getting delivered to the VA, the devices to be put together, another appointment may be needed for final fitment. That's from the folks in The VA I work at. Your VA may differ slightly.
