I made the selection list to become a 919A Warrant Officer, What should I expect?

I'm a 91B SSG currently at Ft. Lee serving as an AIT instructor, but I made the list for 919A (Engineer Equipment Warrant Officer). I have been in the Army for 8 years, and this has been a goal of mine probably since I was a young Sergeant and began being groomed by my Maintenance Techs in my organizations. Obviously I understand I will be challenged more than I ever have in my career transitioning from a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic/ supervisor to an Engineer Equipment Technician, but does anyone have any experiences they would like to share? Also, I am not concerned about surviving WOCS, but I would like to hear experiences from others on how to be as "successful" as the TACs will allow you through the challenging 5 weeks.

Read every single page of the WOCSOP when you receive it. Don't waste your money trying to obtain one prior to arriving, they change it all the time and you won't know which one to follow until you get the official one from 1st WOCC. Every class is different, so don't go into it with the mentality that what worked well for someone else will work for you. Teamwork is key, so do your best to contribute as a member of the team and build the team mentality within your class. Lastly, attention to detail is key. It's going to be the little things that get you in WOCS. In the end though, you'll be a WO so just stay focused on why you're there and you'll be fine.

To add to the above comment, take this simple advice. Shut your mouth and color. Remember it's not just your school experience but everyone's as well. Support your leadership by letting them lead. We are all great Army leaders. Would not be there otherwise. It's not NCOES but a place to learn, grow and change.

Why did you apply as 919A and not 915A? Just curious to know why you went that route.
I served with engineers for about three years as a young Soldier, I'm afraid if I went 919A I would be able to provide less valuable technical advice than as a 915A. Unless I went to a GSE platoon and not to an engineer unit.

Hello I’m a 91c in the reserves thinking about going active duty, and changing my mos for another 91 series. Would this benefit me if I was to go 919A? I’m currently setting some goals for myself, and seeking advice.
