I'm volunteering for RASP in my new AIT. How can I best prepare, and what insight can you provide on the course?

What should I do to prepare for RASP (Formerly RIP)? Does BCT prepare you? | RallyPoint
You probably get similar questions about preparing for basic and such however I am curious how I should prepare for training such as Airborne and Rasp. I'm new to this site and I apologize if this has been asked however I leave for basic this August and am currently hitting the gym four times a week. I also bike around 40 miles a week and jog a few miles here and there but I was wondering if there is anything more I should do. Or tips on...

Just remember along with the link provided by LTC Broom, that you will have to continuously work on maintaining and perhaps bettering your physical fitness. There goes a saying that everyday you have to earn your scroll. Whether you’re in going through RASP or serving within Regiment, ensure that you can walk under weight, get up and run 5 miles, or max your PT test everytime. Also, embody the Ranger Creed, memorize and apply it in everything you’re get yourself into with on or off duty.
I don’t know if the standards are still the same, I think the RASP standards were 80% on each event, but you will have to achieve 90% in each event for every RPFT in Regiment.
