I'm unable to reenlist in the Navy but I want to stay in. What can I do?

I am active duty and I was not able to gain a quota to reenlist through cway. What can I do to stay active? Do I need to meet with a recruiter at the end of my EAOS? Or is there a waiting process?

Star talking to the Career Counselor and see what other jobs you qualify for and pursue those.

Even if you are IRR, and they wont let uoy "Re-Up" come talk to an army recruiter. Business rules change frequently. All depends in your years of service and your discharge type.

Changing to Army or Air Force might work. Check with every recruiter.

Talk to a recruiter about the possibility of going to the reserves, changing your rate and then going back to active duty.

Going SELRES was a common thing many did, change rates and go back on AD. If you are unable to change rates while on AD for whatever reason and are discharged do look into all your options to include other branches of service. Best of luck!

I would recommend talking to a Navy career counselor to see if you can cross-rate, or see if you can do Full-Time Support (FTS) in the reserves.
Have you considered taking advantage of the GI Bill, getting a degree and maybe trying for an officer package later?

I agree with others that have commented...consider another branch of service.
