There is no guarantee you will get to USE the training, just that you will get it.

An assignment might be guaranteed, and the week you get there the unit deployed to Korea , germany, NTC for 6 months.. you get back and find you on orders for a new duty station ....your only stabilized at a duty station for 18 months (reality is you are not getting an assignment orders 12 months out...but anything is possible)
The available enlistment options are perishable, so what was true yesterday may not be available today...but dont let that lead you to a quick and rushed decision.. the recruiter is not lying when they say, choose this NOW as it's available, it could be gone as an option tomorrow... what they may not say is, with common MOS's that are high density (lots of positions) all you have to do is sit back and wait a bit and something will open back up.Response by SGM Erik Marquez made Sep 15 at 2016 3:25 PM2016-09-15T15:25:56-04:002016-09-15T15:25:56-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member1895619

Okay, so check it out. I just talked to one of my recruiter buddies down here. According to USAREC (US Army Recruiting Command), there are 11 series slots out the wazoo. However, if your recruiter is telling you there aren't, it's because they need numbers elsewhere. Recruiters have quotas, and they are supposed to meet certain criteria per quarter / per year. Go talk to another recruiter, and find an NCO that ISN'T a recruiter and have them go with you. They are less likely to BS you, if you have someone with similar or more authority than them. Most recruiters are E-6 (SSG), so finding an E-7 (SFC) or above would typically put a recruiter on his toes. Conversely however, it could also make that recruiter not want to work with you, so stick to E-5/E-6. Someone who knows the ropes and won't take the BS, but isn't an intimidating figure. If this is the path you want, feel free to message me, and I will help you get squared away with what you need to be successful in this line of work.

Best of luck to ya, brother.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Sep 15 at 2016 3:40 PM2016-09-15T15:40:50-04:002016-09-15T15:40:50-04:00SSG Stephan Pendarvis1896529

Depends on the in and out calls for your current MOS and the Inf MOS...Response by SSG Stephan Pendarvis made Sep 15 at 2016 8:32 PM2016-09-15T20:32:00-04:002016-09-15T20:32:00-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member1898706

First off , your not going to get far by presenting yourself with a Picture of yourself like this.
