I'm on Active Duty and looking to reclass as a 68C. Would it be easier to get that MOS in the USAR or ARNG vs active duty as an E6?

USAR if anything, but you'll loose that active duty pay and become TPU.

tough because you would go straight to the ward master position basically NCOIC of a hospital ward.

To my understanding they don’t let people reclass anymore. Its initial entry only now.

Releasing depends on your current grade, especially on active duty. Yes, it would be much easier in the USAR, as they're desperate for staff. The NG has limited medical slots, so less of a chance...

I know I’m a little late but and an e-6 highly unlikely the in/out calls will vary in your favor to leave your current mos and 68c will be in a shortage for e-6
