I&#39;m sure some with more knowledge of this will comment. The USAR can&#39;t prevent you from moving, just as if your husband were not AD and he had to move to accept a job. You simply change units or request to transfer to the IRR. The company commanders got together and worked out the details. 1SG Tommy McGee Mon, 04 May 2020 06:04:45 -0400 2020-05-04T06:04:45-04:00 Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made May 4 at 2020 8:15 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/i-m-national-guard-and-want-to-marry-an-active-duty-soldier-that-is-going-to-be-stationed-in-germany-would-i-be-able-to-go-with-him?n=5848682&urlhash=5848682 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You need to have a conversation with your current CO of your reserve unit to discuss the situation. It might be possible to RST with a unit in Germany, but it would require collaboration with your current unit and the unit you wish to RST with. Communication would be the key!
