Law enforcement is almost always hiring and are usually pretty good about cooperating with the requirements of military service. I know in my department we have a lot of veterans and many reserve and national guardsmen.

look into MDA in AKARNG, FT work as AGR. Would require an IST, but we have a good PR community here as well.
